 Welcome to ATELIER, the first digital magazine that transcends the printed page to present informed and entertaining perspectives on watchmaking and other rare crafts in addition to the world’s most exclusive travel experiences. Translating a creative magazine model to new media, ATELIER will leverage the assets of web technology to build an interactive enthusiast community with a flair for design and imagery. With more than a decade of experience in covering the upper echelons of the luxury world for a connoisseur audience, I will apply my knowledge, talent, and access to deliver original content unlike anything else on the web today. ATELIER will take readers behind the scenes to better understand and appreciate the art and craft of luxury—whether it is the painstaking finishing of a one-of-a-kind timepiece, the creation of a high-jewelry masterpiece, or the planning of a five-star travel experience that will generate memories of a lifetime. With an enthusiasm for the multimedia storytelling potential of new media, I plan to evolve the magazine with video segments, interviews with artisans and designers, and a compelling forum for enthusiasts, collectors, and those who simply appreciate quality, authenticity, and craftsmanship.
